This market leading sports retailer is seeking an experienced Senior Allocations Analyst with experience in retail to join this progressive team. This role is ideal for candidates with previous retail allocations or branch merchandising experience gained within a fast paced environment. The main purpose of the role is to support the Merchandise Manager to maximise sales and profitability through correct planning and allocation of stock. Responsibilities include: Store Grading Managing stock in season by reviewing stock cover levels regularly Providing information on back orders and stock availability Analysing the current season sales and providing reports on best and worst sellers Creating forecasts at brochure and product level for future season by analysing historical demand, pricing and promotions Analysing data on a weekly and monthly basis and proposing product for additional marketing activities such as telesales or web merchandising Preparing product information for end of season stock clearance Providing an analysis of stock holding and detailed plan for disposal. Ensuring each seasons critical path is adhered to and updated where necessary To succeed in this role you will be of graduate calibre or equivalent, with excellent numeracy and analytical skills. Previous retail allocations/branch merchandising experience is essential ideally from another fashion retailer. Furthermore, you will also possess excellent communication skills and strong excel skills.This retailer is offering a great package as well other benefits.
