This leading multi national contractor is urgently seeking a Senior Authorised Person to join the team in their East London office on a permanent staff basis. This role will focus on LV switching works at 11-33kv.
As a Senior Authorised Person, your duties will include but not be limited to;
•Planning outages and producing switching schedules
•Issuing of task instructions and associated plans
•Issuing of electrical permits to work, sanctions for test and associated documents for HV systems
•Control and distribution of all relevant safety and quality documentation
•Assisting in the selection and delivery of all plant and equipment according to client spec
•Conducting necessary preliminary work in line with HSE standards
•Carrying out of LV switching works and undertaking of risk assessments
The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior Authorised Person with;
•An HNC/ONC or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering
•Certification in First Aid, Manual Handling, Electricity at Work, Electric Shock
•Knowledge of EDF networks
