Degree / HNC qualified Development Engineer to join a successful automotive manufacturer in Dartford, Kent. With headquarters in Canada, the Senior Automotive Development Engineer will be joining an international organisation at the forefront of engine development.Salary is c£32,000 + stakeholder pension + BUPA.
Responsibilities for Senior Automotive Development Engineer:
Devise and run test programmes
Take responsibility for managing both junior and senior technicians and engineers
Analyse test results and report to senior management
Ensure swift and successful completion of major projects to tight deadlines
Use problem-solving techniques in the development process
Experience required:
Development of either Gasoline or Diesel engines
Emissions testing
Exposure to manufacturing tools, e.g Kaizen, 6 Sigma, TPM
First interviews will take place at our Dartford site.There may be a subsequent video-conferencing assessment centre with our Canadian head office.
