Provide leadership, direction, engage & motivate the retail buying team. Lead the retail supplier & buying strategy optimising profitability whilst supporting the customer facing proposition (e.g. pricing, promotions, product ranging, procurement & profit). Monitor and measure performance, identifying new opportunities to improve gross margin and improved ways of working.
You must have a proven ability to manage within a Retail Buying team preferably with an FMCG background. You must take real pride in your team and work closely with them to maximise both business KPI’s and their own potential.
You should have a good understanding of both Licensed and own label product and be able to demonstrate solid margin and revenue performances from your previous teams.
