An opportunity has arisen to join a Social Care Team in Cambridgeshire, providing care management services to adults with learning disabilities.
Principal Duties:
- Undertaking case arrangement for assessment and care planning in situations which involve risk, complexity and safety of the service user and others
- Taking a key role in developing service user empowerment and anti-discriminatory practise in all professional practise in the team.
Essential to the post is:
* A Social Work , Occupational Therapist or other relevant professional qualification
* Up to date knowledge of practise development in the service area of adults with disabilities
* An advanced level of knowledge of anti-discriminatory practise, theories of empowerment and their applicaiton and the ability to critically appraise these.
* Proven overall knowledge of relevant legislation
