Job DescriptionWe operate at the forefront of the transport, property and industry sectors and are one of the world's leading project and cost management consultants. Using a flexible and multi-disciplinary approach, we provide an independent service in three key areas: consulting, project management and commercial services. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Consultant with extensive experience inthe water industry for our Saudi Arabia office, to ensure best practice management system within the clients organization and to ensure clients staff are trained in the management of the organization in accordance with the new best practice management system.


RequirementsTechnical Competencies/Qualifications/Experience Essential Qualified Engineer (ideally an MSc degree in a construction related field) Minimum of 20 years of experience in a similar position within the project management/construction industry Extensive experience within the Water Industry Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English Ability to liaise with a wide variety of staff and Clients at all levels essential Computer literate Leadership Excellent leadership Team building Negotiation skills Commercial awareness Desirable Chartered / Member of a recognised professional institution Administrative skills Work experience within the Middle East Coaching/mentoring Delegation skills Presentation skills Behavioural CompetenciesEssential Self starter Articulate/good communicator Confident Approachable Attention to detail Collaborative Seeks continuous improvement


Responsibilities Overall responsibility for the performance of the Project Management Team on the projects Lead a large team of Construction Director/Project Managers/Engineers and project control experts etc. Report to the client on a regular basis on the progress, costs and quality of the projects and will obtain authority from the client for any decisions/instructions required that are outside the Project Management Team's limit of authority Monitoring all work executed, at all stages, to ensure that an accurate and professional service is offered Professional interface with other disciplines and clients' representative Ensure the quality and timeliness of service delivery to clients Ensure that the Project Management Team is adequately resourced Ensure that contractual deliverables are produced and issued Ensure adherence to the procedures described in the project management manual Create a positive and proactive approach that drives the whole of the project management team, as well as the contractors and consultant Administration of all contracts Conduct team meetings and direct actions Staff structure and formal routes of reporting Staff development appraisals
