This international consultancy are Engineers, Architects, Consultants and Environmental Scientists with over 4000 professionals operating world-wide. They are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Dam Expert to join their busy team in Nijmegen.
At present, their Advisory Group International Water Resources & Ecology integrates 18 professionals working on projects worldwide. In a global context where the demands on water and environment become more and more interwoven and conflicting, they advise and guide their clients on the technical, institutional, environmental and economic aspects of integrated water resources management. The advisory group focuses on i) flood prevention and mitigation, ii) drought prevention and relief, iii) urban drainage and iv) (multipurpose) dams. Their multidisciplinary approach yields tailor-made solutions, embedded in the specific local conditions.
Being a key expert on dams, there will be a strong demand on your in-depth knowledge and experience in dam engineering. Moreover, you will be challenged on your creativity, flexibility and (cultural) adaptability. Their clients expect you to fully internalize their challenges and to deliver the desired output in time and to the highest quality standards. As an expert, you mostly work in teams, especially in the home office. Abroad, you either reinforce the local project setting, or you manage to operate on your own if required. Frequent travel for short or longer periods is inherent in your professional life within the company. You share your expertise with younger civil engineers and train them on the job.

-You are proficient in speaking, reading and writing the Dutch, English and French language:
