Senior Digital Electronics Engineer - High speed digital design
Location - Wiltshire
Salary - £42k - £45k
A genuine world-leader in it's field are looking to hire 2 Digital Hardware Design Engineer to work on Research and Development projects on the design of electronic hardware modules for safety-critical products , as well as increase the capability of the Embedded Platforms Centre of Excellence Development team in digital design.
Commutable locations - Wiltshire , Bristol , Bath , Somerset , Gloucestershire
Hardware Engineer Key Responsibilities :
- Design of electronic hardware products
- life cycle responsibility for HW designs from spec through to manufacturing support
- Production of product documentation
- Implementation of verification and test programmes
Hardware Engineer Qualifications and Skills required :
- Relevant Electronics degree
- Relevant experience in a similar position designing high speed digital electronics
- In-depth knowledge of VHDL for programmable devices - within a structured design environment
- Knowledge of PowerPC or similar
- Knowledge of embedded microprocessor design
- CAE capture and simulation tools for electronic design
