An excellent opportunity has arisen within this growing consultancy for an experienced EIA consultant to join the environmental team to work on EIA projects for developments in the renewable, energy and power infrastructure industries. From the Newcastle office you will act as a project manger and provide expert environmental advice for proposed developments in the energy and waste sectors. You will have the opportunity to work n a variety of project s with clients in both the public and private sector.
*Qualification- Candidates for this role will ideally hold a relevant degree / MSc in an environmental discipline and professional membership of IEMA or similar.
*Location- Newcastle
*Experience- Candidates are anticipated to hold experience of working on a variety of environmental and EIA projects, with particular knowledge of the energy and waste sectors an advantage. The successful candidate will hold a demonstrable track record in site search, feasibility studies, managing and delivery of EIA projects and report writing.
*Salary- up to £35,000
*Company- Multidisciplinary consultancy
Duties Include:
- Project management of EIA and other environmental projects
- Technical report writing and review- ES and EIS
- Client liaising
- Business development activities
- Liaising with teams from other disciplines
- Assist in the development of the team and expansion of environmental services
Typical Projects
Wind farm developments, Marine renewable developments, power infrastructure development and improvement schemes eg pipelines.
