This multidisciplinary consultancy currently have an exciting opportunity for an EIA consultant with experience in the waste and energy sectors to join their busy Newcastle based team. The successful candidate will provide project and client management to the environmental group, overseeing the coordination and completion of large scale EIA projects, and also to assist in the development of new opportunities for the environmental field.
Ideal candidates for this role will hold a relevant (Environmental) degree and a relevant professional membership. Those at or working towards Chartered Status will be at an advantage. Candidate should hold previous experience of managing and coordinating large scale EIA projects for developments in the Energy (including renewables and infrastructure) and Waste (Waste disposal facilities, waste to energy plants) sectors. Those with a track record in business development and a keen interest to further expand the services provided by the environment team will be at an advantage.
Duties Include:
- Client management
- Project management
- Business development, expansion of services
- Staff management
- Liaising with other senior staff in the environmental group
- Writing reports
Typical Projects
Wind farm developments, Hydro developments, tidal energy schemes, CHP and biomass plants, waste to energy facilities, pipeline projects, landfill projects, recycling facility developments.
