This leading multidisciplinary consultancy has an excellent opportunity for a senior environmental consultant with an established commercial EMS and Environmental auditing background to join their busy team in Nottingham.
* Qualification- Candidates for this role will hold a relevant academic background with a degree / MSc in a core science/ environmental discipline, membership of an appropriate [professional body. It is expected that the successful candidate be IEMA auditor registered.
* Location- Nottingham
* Experience- The successful candidate will hold a proven track record in delivering EMS and environmental auditing projects within a consultancy environment. Those with specific experience of working on industrial projects will be at an advantage.
* Salary- £30-£40,000 plus
* Company- Multidisciplinary consultancy
Duties Include:
- Project management
- Designing, implementing and auditing EMS
- Undertaking other project work including resource efficiency, carbon accounting, CSR Strategy
- Staff management and mentoring
- Report preparation and presentation
Typical Projects
Working on a wide variety of projects ranging from small to large scale Environmental Management Systems implementation through to sustainability reporting and carbon accounting. Many of the projects will be on behalf of industrial clients.
