Senior Estimator

Location: Grangemouth, Scotland

Working within this Rail main contractor a vacancy exists for a Senior Estimator based within its office in Grangemouth, Scotland.

The main duties of the job will include:

• Production of accurate cost estimates for both direct and indirect costs, using prices consistent with current market conditions.
• Preparation of subcontractor and material enquiries, analysis of returns for compliance and use in the estimate.
• Assess resource levels and production outputs to compute work costs
• Liaison with other members of the Work Winning Team to produce successful submissions.

The successful applicant will have had a minimum of 10 years estimating and site experience and a minimum qualification of an HNC in Civil Engineering (or related).

Experience

• Computer aided estimating software is essential and planning skills would be advantageous.
• Heavy Civils and Rail Civils experience. (Not PWAY – Not Track)
