Our client a leading civil engineering contractor have a successful work-winning and pre-contract team responsible for the securing of the future workload. The works tendered and delivered are up to £450m in value, whilst the scope is varied and includes major road and bridge works, wind farms, railway works, airports, clean and waste water treatment and power stations in value. These works are undertaken as a sole contractor or as part of a joint venture with other members of the major civil engineering contractors. The Senior Estimator's role is to manage and prepare accurate and fully resourced estimates whilst maintaining high organisational skills and fulfil a leading role in the production of tenders of high value and complexity, together with the presentation of the cost estimates to the tender review board.
Throughout this process the Senior Estimator will implement company policy and procedures amongst the project stakeholders. This will include liaison with client representatives, internal and external services, designers and third party partners including our supply chain.
