A Senior J2EE AJAX Developer is sought by our client, a rapidly expanding software and solutions business that has built a fantastic reputation supplying some of the most robust and innovative software and infrastructure solutions into the Criminal Justice field and private sectors. As a Senior J2EE AJAX Developer, your key objective will be to analyse the requirements from functional specifications or test case scenarios on the company's new in-house development project. Additionally your core responsibilities will include:
*Participate in estimation, design and review activities
*Develop and test AJAX code to high quality standards
*Carry out and supervise unit and integration testing and documentation
*Provide fast and effective resolutions to issues
*Keep skills up to date and maintain awareness of developments in the software world
It is anticipated that in order to be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
*Extensive AJAX Development exposure
*Strong Java development experience
*Particular experience in J2EE and application servers
*Exposure to Javascript, HTML and XML
*Familiarity with current system development methods, Agile and RAD
*Excellent written and Oral communication skills
Additionally if you can demonstrate experience of the version control software ClearCase it would be beneficial although by no means essential.
