My client is a thriving medical diagnostics and laboratory services company based in Essex, just inside the M25. Du to ongoing success after recently setting up a new UKAS accredited testing ficitility, they are looking to recruit an experienced LC-MS/MS specialist.
The position is of senior scientist level, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the quick turnaround of results for all Mass Spec testing. As a senior scientist you will also be required to work in other parts of the laboratory, including operating the Olympus AU400 and the Tecan Genesis microplate system. Working in a fast paced environment, this will envolve working flexible hours and weekends on occasion.
Successful candidates for this position will ideally come from a MS specialist position within their last organisation, and ideally have experience of working within a UKAS environment. Experience handling Applied Biosystems 3200 QTrap LC-MS-MS is preferred, and also experience handling Olympus AU400, and Tecan Genesis microplate systems.
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 (p/a)
