From diagnosing and agreeing training needs within the business and engaging third party specialists, through to quantifying results, this project management focused role needs someone who is passionate about leadership development. You'll also need the confidence to push the established boundaries within Learning and Development by utilising the very latest technologies and tools to ensure true engagement from the businesses leadership team. Learning and Development professionals with a traditional approach to leadership development need not apply, you have to be inspirational, instantly credible and above all energetic about stepping outside the traditional comfort zones so many people within this space find solace within.
Sitting within my clients Learning and Development Centre of Expertise, this role focuses on their leadership teams and forms part of their wider Learning and Development agenda. You'll need to be a strong team player who is willing to be flexible to help out colleagues within other areas of the academy.
Senior Learning and Development (Leadership Development and Effectiveness) Project Manger. - Responsibilities
This role offers a strong mix of strategic and operational responsibilities and will be inclusive of the following:
Creation and delivery of L & D and training strategy across the business Support continuing development of the senior management team Definition of critical skills required for future development of employees Identification and allocation of external training courses and resource Educate and empower the business to deliver on Learning and Development initiatives Ensure appropriate instructional principles, practices, processes and tools are used Development and management of key stakeholder relationships
Senior Learning and Development (Leadership Development and Effectiveness) Project Manger. - Key Skills
*An understanding and interest in blended e-learning would be advantageous *Sound knowledge of Learning and Development frameworks *Certificate of Training Practice or other relevant qualifications are essential *Exceptional communication and team working skills *Strong commercial acumen and awareness *Well organised with high attention to detail *Confident, assertive manner with a strong sense of professionalism *Strong leadership and influencing skills *Ability to work to demanding targets without compromising quality of service
