Senior Marketing Manager
Junction is the partnerships division of BGL Group. Our aim is to form mutually profitable relationships with market leading brands and organisations.
Junction was formed in 2002 to support BGL’s strategic decision to enter the growing affinity insurance market where well-known brands extend their product offerings into insurance by outsourcing to an established insurance provider. Since its launch, Junction has grown rapidly and is now the largest personal lines affinity provider in the UK. Its expertise focuses on motor and home insurance.
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Manager to work within the Junction Marketing Team.
The Role:
- To work with Junction partners to provide effective marketing strategies utlising both internal and external capabilities to deliver the most value to the relationship.
- To ensure we are capitalising and driving business from a partner's own distribution channels and customers.
- To evaluate new channels and communication strategies to deliver increased revenue, penetration or response.
- To manage the Joint Marketing fund with key partners and ensure that any Junction investment has the appropriate return.
- To support the Business Development team in understanding and sizing opportunity and provide marketing plans and input into tenders, where necessary.
You must be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience as a marketing manager or marketing advisor
- Strategic marketing planning along with the development of marketing plans.
- Management of external agencies.
- Direct marketing experience - both on and off line.
- The management and development of teams.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and communication skills and the ability to present at all levels.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
