Senior Mechanical Engineer - local candidates only - Malaysia
Salary (negotiable circa US $5.5k per month)
My client is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to assume the responsibility for process engineering design during all stages of project execution, whilst adhering to client specifications and design standards. As a senior member of the Project Team, the Senior Mechanical Engineer must communicate effectively with the other engineers, Project Leads, Client's management and client representatives to ensure the company's reputation for high quality products and services is maintained.
Qualifications / Skills Required:
*Degree in Mechanical Engineering
*Professional membership with the Institution of Mechanical
*Acquired more than 10 years working experience in Oil & Gas industry or refinery experience with some of this in a multi-discipline design environment
*Preferably has gained exposure in identification and screening of development concepts and FEED
*Project engineering skills to ensure studies and projects are delivered within agreed budgets and schedule
*Excellent written and verbal English skills
Responsibilities:
*Delivery of mechanical engineering design in accordance with the relevant industry codes and standards whilst meeting best engineering practice
*Provision of highly professional services tailored to meet the stages of project execution
*Ensuring all calculations and design work is prepared in accordance with the Client's Quality Management System
