Position: Senior Medical Writer
Location: Kent
Salary: 35-40k

Our client based in Kent is currently looking for a Senior Medical Writer to join the editorial team, the company who specialise in medical communications are now 25 strong with over 10 years experience. They are a fast growing and progressive organisation looking for someone to perform the following tasks
To work with the Editorial Team Leader/Editorial Director to provide writing/editorial support to the company
To ensure that the writing aspects of all projects are completed on time, to the client’s brief and within budget
To maintain the highest standards of written work by implementing quality control at all stages of a project
To liaise with designers and artworkers to generate layout of copy
To coach writers and trainees within the group on a project-by-project basis, and act as a reviewer on such projects
To contribute to the training of Medical Writers
To support the group in all aspects of administrative work (e.g. letters/faxes/general admin) when required to do so
Reports To
Editorial Team Leader (or Editorial Director in the absence of a designated ETL)
Excellence in medical writing for our clients
Deep understanding of client product(s) and therapy areas
Strong relationships with client contacts
Must have agency background of around 2 years plus
