46016251 Senior Merchandiser Yorkshire £30000 to £40000 per annum Permanent jobs Updated 23/11/2009 18:38 Job Role the BMB Group based out of Leeds, West Yorkshire distributes it brands to all levels of the market in both formal wear and casual wear. Each brand has it;s own personality and handwriting, appealing to clearly defined consumer segments, ensuring that the brands complement each other so that they sit comfortably within the fashion/price architecture. The business owns many brands, a retail arm including Racing Green and Suits You but it also has the long-term licensee for others. In addition it develops brands owned by it;s partner retailers such as Debenhams and Burtons.
The role of a Senior Merchandiser will be to support the buying teams in building and developing the range. You will be responsible for a cross section of brands that may include Racing Green, John Rocha, Jeff Banks Lon
The ideal candidate for the role will have the following skills:-
- Develop detailed budgets to cover Sales, Markdown, Margin and Intake
- Range plan and develop brands using historical analysis
- Prepare sale & promotion proposals, Business analysis including trend performance at brand and garment category level
- Have excellent communication skills to deliver information at all levels, through Buying, Design, Supply and Retail Teams.
- WSSI either current or previous
- Open to Buy experience
- Either Retail or On-Line merchandising experience gained within Fashion or Home sectors
