Senior Network Engineer, Network Support Engineer (CCNA to CCIE) Milton Keynes
Based: Milton Keynes, Bucks
Salary: c£40,000

As Senior Network Engineer your role will encompass resolution of high level operational support issues, project definition, build and implementation and network design.You must be confident in a client facing role and capable of gathering customer requirements directly and translating that to specification documentation working alongside the sales team with new and existing customers.
Essential Skills
You have a minimum CCNA Certification (preference for any of CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIP, CCSP, CCVP and a desire to attain CCIE).Technically you can demonstrate in-depth experience of the Cisco router and switch product suite. You have expertise in Cisco IOS including configuration, Security and diagnostics. You have experience with structured multilayer network design in an ISP or large enterprise environment. Systems integration including servers, load balancers and network management systems. Working knowledge of security, firewalls and VPN deployments. Fundamental Project Management knowledge and an understanding of standards procedures, SLAs (ITIL or ISO desirable)
Good working knowledge of a range of protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, Netflow, SNMP, MPLS, HSRP, VRRP, TCP/IP, IPSec, SSL, VTP, DNS, Microsoft Active Directory, ISDN BRI, PRI, DNS, DHCP, CDP, SMTP, Sniffer, Packet Analysis)
