Job Title:Senior PHP Web Developer

The role
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Senior PHP Developer to join a highly successful website company based in Lichfield. You will work on a number of very exciting projects involving website re-development and improvement, social media applications, and expansion of the site to overseas users while keeping up with their phenomenal growth.

With over 10,000 new registrations each month they are looking to build on this success with a number of exciting projects that will take the site to the next stage in its development.
Key experience required
You will have at least four to five years in a PHP 4/5 and MySQL web development role in which you have taken control of key web projects and seen them through from start to finish. You will have strong experience in XHTML, CSS, CMS, HTML and JavaScript / Ajax coupled with knowledge of data feeds such as XML, CSV, SOAP or REST.
Any experience of having worked with affiliate marketing networks or experience of sites managing large numbers of product feeds would also be welcomed as would any experience in social media which will be a big area for them going forward.
Communication will be key in this role as will excellent people skills and the ability to convey technical knowledge in understandable fashion.
