Senior Patrol Services Dispatcher
£22,500 + shift allowance
Redhill
AXA Assistance provides a wide range of assistance
services for national and international organisations, from insurance brokers
to motor manufacturers.Rescue 24 is a
great example. This integrated roadside rescue and recovery service for cars
and motorcycles uses highly trained service technicians driving specially
designed and equipped vehicles – and you could now have a significant impact on
its success.
As Senior
Patrol Services Coordinator, you will make sure that our fleet of rescue and recovery
vehicles is used as efficiently, effectively and profitably as possible. This
will involve analysing specific rescue or recovery requests, deciding on the
most appropriate response and using our computer systems to deploy work to our
technicians on the road. But that's just the start. You will also communicate
clear targets for the day and give our technicians daily feedback on their
performance. And no matter how demanding the circumstances, you will ensure
that we always meet the customer's expectations and treat the customer fairly.
On a
technical level, you will need a working knowledge of the Recovery Industry
and/or vehicle maintenance knowledge. This should be supported by computer
literacy (particularly in Excel and Word) and proven ability to manage and
coordinate multiple tasks at the same time. Excellent communication and team
skills are also essential. In addition, you must have the resilience and
temperament to stay calm and focused at all times – and especially during
periods of peak demandor when dealing
with difficult traffic or weather conditions.
