Senior Planner - Major Highways - Bedfordshire
Project - A £300m highways project to upgrade the M1 between J10 and J13 to make use of the existing hard shoulder to widen the motorway from 3 to 4 lanes. Scope of works will include major junction reconstructions, communications and signal gantries. Duration of the project is 3 1/2 years from now.
Company - Civil engineering main contractor with operations covering the full spectrum of the civil engineering and rail infrastructure.
Role - Senior Planner reporting into the Planning Manager making up a team of 4. Responsibility to prepare and update large sections of the construction programme for this complicated highways project. Involved in the EVA reports and liaising continuously with the construction teams on project milestones.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Degree or equivalent in a Civil Engineering discipline
- Main contractor background
- Highways experience is essential
- Knowledge of Primavera P3 planning software
- Knowledge of EVA reporting
