Senior Planner

A Central London-based unique design and construction consultancy currently seeks a Senior Planner to work on various construction and design related schemes. They are currently working on an exciting portfolio of new projects worth between £20m and £400m each.

My client is a diverse project management consultancy that work with the leading contractors, designers and developers in the construction sector. The majority of their employees are at the top of their respective fields and they pride themselves on the creative and innovative approach and attention to detail that they adopt towards all projects.This is confirmed by the fact that 70% of their turnover is a result of repeat business.

The Role

The majority of the work is of a strategic nature and you will be liaising with contractors, developers and designers; the role will involve aspects of planning within the design stage and also at various other points in the project lifecycle. The business has a number of prestigious clients and you will be expected to maintain and build on existing relationships.

Ideally, applicants will have the following:

- Significant experience of planning on building projects, either at live or design stage.
- Hands-on construction experience (you must be able to visualise the project at all stages of construction).
- Proficiency with PowerProject would be advantageous (although not essential).
- Must possess strong communication skills due to the client-facing nature of the role.
- Eligible to work in the UK.

In return, our client will offer a market-leading salary of between £55k and £65k (dependent upon level of experience) plus an excellent benefits package.
