Senior Process Development Engineer
Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Process Development Engineer who will perform tasks necessary to engineer new processes for new product development, continuous improvement and support of ongoing production activities.
Essential duties and responsibilities to include:
* You will develop, plan and implement the necessary activities to take new product concepts into full manufacturing.
* Continuous production support is expected after launch into production and transfer to a low cost manufacturing facility. Some international travel will expected in order to support the transfer process.
* Perform necessary management duties to supervise a subordinate engineer / or techncian.
You will be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar, have manufacturung experience in a related industry. Good understanding of electronics and electronic production techniques is desirable.
Knowledgeable in basic statistics
Experience in the use of 3D CAD would be beneficial but not essential
Experience of using process control tools and improvment techniques
Experience in generating Process FMEA's, control plans, manufacturing plans and assembly aids.
Training and experience in Microsoft Project
