This market leader in Histology and Cancer Diagnostics wishes to appoint a Senior Product Manager to manage a team of 3 Product Managers from their headquarters in Newcastle. You will manage the implementation of business strategy for product development to ensure budgeted growth plans are met by: providing commercial leadership to the team, managing the profitability of product lines, working with specialist marketing to ensure marketing collateral maximises sales outcomes and providing a detailed project management approach to ensure timely and professional product launches.
A business critical role, it is essential that you are a proven business leader with a track record of market share and profit growth. You have extensive experience in the Biomedical industry, ideally in Histology or Cancer Diagnostics. You have sound judgement with ability to balance big picture thinking and appropriate attention to detail, with a risk management focus. You are a strategic thinker with high levels of initiative, self-motivation and energy, excellent leadership and people management skills, project management skills and high attention to detail and follow-through on commitments. You have innate commercial acumen and ideally MBA level business skills.
You have graduate or post-graduate qualifications in a Biomedical Science or Enginering discipline and marketing, strategic marketing or management consulting experience
