Leap29 currently have an excellent opportunity with an operating company in Malaysia. My client is a large oil and gas exploration and production company with locations in the USA, UK, Germany, Australia and South East Asia. They are currently looking for a senior petroleum engineer who will be comfortable working with deep water.
The Role:
You will be a production engineer primarily responsible for routine well and reservoir surveillance, problem well diagnostics and repair. Additionally you will be responsible for well and field production performance, production allocation, database management, investigate, control coning, maintain choke model, linking Material Balance, Nodal Analysis and surface Network Software (Prosper-GAP - MBal). You will be working closely with the facilities and reservoir engineering teams whilst liaising closely with the well services intervention supervisor to ensure maximum production of the reservoir.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum Engineering.
* Familiar with issues relating to drilling, production and work over of offshore dry-tree and Subsea wells.
* Familiar with reservoir, completions and construction engineering.
* Experience with production optimization using computer software
* Willingness to travel to the field, both onshore and offshore.
* Strong team building and presentation skills.
* Fluent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
* Computer literate
