My client is an award winning, chilled, short shelf life, food manufacturer, part of a multi-million pound operation. A real success story that continues to buck the trend and grow at a rapid pace.
I am looking for a top draw High Care Production Manager with extensive High Care expertise to join their pofitable site in Leicester. The business as a whole is enjoying on-going success and rarely have opportunities like this been available.
Your accountability will be all inclusive in the manaufacturing function, as you would expect, and will therefore encompass all operational responsibilities: Productivity, Quality, Health & Safety and Cost control-performance and Leadership.
You will manage a business unit which operates a 3 shift system, 7 days per week. Reporting into the Operations Director you will be able to demonstrate your ability to drive the business unit forward, enhance profitability and of course work with innovation in a pragmatic style.
This role is not for the faint hearted. It is a challenging environment, a growing business and needs an accomplished Food industry expert to lead the teams through a further phase of business enhancement.
The company are proud of their solid operational framwork, their ambitious NPD projects and a culture based around business improvements. If you have experience that can demonstrate your delivery of Lean practices this will be a distinct advantage.
