Senior Programme Officer: Latin America
The salary for this role is on a range between £33,665 and £40,000 (for an exceptional candidate), plus benefits
Based: Bogota, Colombia, with regular travel in the Andean region
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Programme Officer to join our Economy & Peacebuilding team.
You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a multi-country project in the Andean region of Latin America. Your work will primarily focus on building civil society capacities for conflict prevention, and at the same time promoting conflict-sensitive investment in rural communities by companies.
With substantial experience of working on the conflict and human rights impacts of companies, at both operational and policy levels, you are as comfortable engaging with local communities as you are with corporate executives. Skilled in promoting and facilitating dialogue at different levels, you can draw on strong analytical, research and writing skills. You have a proven track record of networking, coalition-building and advocacy; and you enjoy working in a diverse team and contributing to team strategy and expansion.
You have a relevant postgraduate degree, and are fluent in Spanish.
