Currently?P?yry are recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer,?responsible for delivery of front end and detailed design projects in accordance with the technical standards, budgets and schedules set for the projects under their control.
As a key member of the leadership team you will work closely and need to communicate effectively with the engineering discipline leads and P?yry Energy management to ensure the company's reputation for high quality products and services is maintained.
Skills
- Project engineering skills to ensure studies and projects are delivered within agreed budgets and schedules
- Breadth of associated skills covering project controls, cost estimation and planning
- Should have in-depth knowledge of contract terms, conditions and negotiation skills
- Experience across a range of asset types (onshore, offshore, typical refinery unit operation, gas processing)?
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional competence in Arabic an advantage)
- Be capable of effective communication, delegation and aligning efforts of a multi-discipline design team towards common objectives
- Understanding of the practices and operations of oil and gas industry clients, and in particular the processes engaged during the concept selection and FEED phases of project development, with specific skills in Brownfield modifications
Qualifications- Degree holder (Minimum BSc/MSc/BEng in appropriate engineering discipline) and professional membership of recognized international institute
- Around 15 years relevant work experience of which a minimum 10 years project engineering in FEED, detailed engineering and operations support in the oil and gas sector
