We are currently sourcing on belhalf of a leading contractor a Senior Quantity Surveyor from a consruction background to work from their Western Operation.
The Role:
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Reporting to the Commercial Manager on this 3+years contract you will be responsible for all commercial activities for a significant part of this long-term framework within the Rail Sector.
Ideally you will be from a Main Contractor background and have experience of working within the Rail Sector (although not essential) and will be based within the Western Region travelling to their Swindon Operation as well as visiting the Birmingham office as and when deemed necessary by the client Network Rail. So a central location with easy access to the M5 would be an advantage.
Professional Profile
Professional attitude and experience of working with multiple sub-contractors and direct labour.
Experienced in sealed bid procurement process.
Excellent organisation and reporting skills including WIP analysis, accruals and forecasting.
