Senior Manager Corporate Security

Location: Surrey with Middle East travel

Salary: £76,000 - £78,000 per annum

The Role

Our client requires a Senior Regional Security Manager for the Middle East Region who

plans and manages the Middle East Region security function under the direction of the Global Director of Security Operations. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and manage the strategic and tactical planning for the region’s security services and support. The Senior Regional Security Manager position covers a large geographical area of accountability in terms of assets, facilities, and the number and size of project sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provides oversight to all project security employees in identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining security procedures / processes across the Region to reduce risk, respond to incidents, and limit exposure to liability in order to protect our employees and reduce financial loss to the company.

Within the Middle East Region, identifies significant security risks, designs and implements strategies and programs to prevent and reduce loss of corporate assets.

Through project level security employees operating within the Region, coordinates and implements site security, operations and activities to ensure the protection of executives, managers, employees, physical assets, intellectual properties and information assets, while ensuring optimal use of personnel and equipment.

Accountable for responding in a timely manner to a wide-range of challenges and volatile situations.

Develops and implements procedures, standards, training and methods for identifying and protecting intellectual property assets, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorised disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, tampering, espionage, sabotage, or financial loss.

Working with Regional agencies and security assets to maintain important and close relationships with high-level law enforcement, intelligence, and private sector counterparts to include various regional country security agencies.

Briefs senior management (VP of Security, Director of Security) on the status of regional security issues.

Qualifications & Experience

Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 12+ years of experience, at least 3 of which should be in management.
