Senior Residential Childcare Worker
We are looking for a Senior Residential Childcare Worker to provide a residential service to children and young people. If you are NVQ Level 3 CCYP qualified and based in Bacup then apply now!
Senior Residential Childcare Worker Role:
Key responsibilities:
*To undertake the day to day management of the household at the direction of the Home Manager.
*To offer professional practice support meetings to staff to complement staff supervision.
*To contribute to the development of practice, in line with company standards and policies, and ensuring that staff adhere to the policies.
*To attend Case Reviews, Planning Meetings and any other meetings as required.
Essential Requirements:
*NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Children and Young People.
*Minimum 2 yrs experience working in a residential home with young people who display challenging behavior.
*Relevant supervisory experience.
*Good working knowledge of the National Minimum Standards.
*Full Driving Licence.
Package:
*? 20k+ (depending on shift pattern) - paid on a shift basis.
*On going paid training, professional development, competitive salary and excellent holidays.
You would be required to work 10 shifts per calendar month, including sleep-ins, therefore a high level of commitment is required, along with the ability to adopt a flexible attitude to work routines and shift patterns.
