Senior Risk Assessment Engineer: The Senior Risk Assessment Engineer will join a progressive and rapidly expanding part of my client who provides high end technical and project management services to the prime Defence companies in the instance support to the UK Mod Submarine Programme. The Senior Risk Assessment Engineer will be able to demonstrate sufficient and appropriate mechanical engineering analytical capability to deliver a range of technically challenging projects and to support the development of safety cases in the nuclear industry.
Senior Risk Assessment Engineer: Qualifications and Experience:
- Suitable scientific or engineering degree
- Post-graduate experience in the nuclear industry
- Experience in several of the following areas:
Fault Tree Analysis / Event Tree Analysis / Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis / Hazard assessments / Human Reliability Analysis (HEART, THERP, etc.) Common Cause Failure Analysis / Fault Schedule Production
- Ability to integrate (the output from) the above processes into currently available PSA software tools.
- Experience of liaising directly with clients and the ability to recognise and assist in the development of business opportunities
