- Sarbanes Oxley, RCA and GAPs sign off - leading and driving sign off for business
- Engaging and managing auditor requirements for SOX and year end audit issues and queries (where required)
- Embedding a sound understanding of Sarbanes Oxley and control disciplines where required- leading by best practice
- Acting as the point of contact for all control and governance workstreams
- Attendance at stakeholder controls meetings at a Divisional level- covering FRACC, Stage II Governance and Sarbanes Oxley Coordinator calls
- Creating ledger control mechanisms, logging and reporting ledger related issues, leading liaison with shared service centres, identifying issues for
escalation
- Influencing behaviour within the immediate fin
Qualified Accountant- ACA, ACCA, CIMA
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of controls and governance with the proven ability to lead a team and drive results.
They will have experience of presenting to senior management and to Executive level members. They will have strong influencing skills and excellent
communication skills and will quickly build rapport with their finance colleagues and the wider stakeholder environment. A good understanding of Sarbanes
Oxley principles and financial statement assertions is desirable.
