randstad are currently recruiting for Social Work Assistant's to work in a Care Management Team. Candidates must have relevant experience of working with Children, Young People and Families and an overview of current legislation, policy and procedure governing statutory work in Children`s Services. Will need to be flexible in their work approach and will have responsibility for their own case load alongside supporting qualified social workers, mainly regarding children who are subject to Child Protection Plans. The worker should preferrably be able to pick up, efficiently manage and progress cases through all elements of Policy and Procedure for Looked After Children. Worker must have good organisational skills and a good enough understanding of policy, procedure and the basics of legislation. There will be an expectation for the SSWA to assist in the supervision, assessment and recording of child/parent and sibling contact, so must be a car driver and owner as an essential element of this post.
Role is FULL-TIME;
MUST BE A CAR DRIVER WITH ACCESS TO A CAR FOR WORK USE.
