Job title:Senior Software Engineer

A large and highly successful manufacturer of electro-mechanical RF reading systems is now seeking a highly proficient senior software engineer.
The main purpose of the role is to create a real time wireless connection between the reading system and the remote unit using GPRS.
The role will involve developing embedded software (C, C++) and system testing for complex solutions.
The successful software engineer will hold an electronics or software degree and be able to work to tight deadlines. You will have also held senior engineering responsibilities such as attending meetings and involvement in enhancing the performance in the design and development function.
Working knowledge of communication technology (GSM, GPRS etc) and low power/voltage is essential in this role and focussing on right first time production. Experience of analogue and digital electronic design, particularly for manufacturing at high volume would put you at a distinct advantage.
