Randstad Employment Bureau are currently working in partnership with a professional organisation in search of an experienced Trainer who understands & values diversity.The post holder will be required to co-ordinate training programmes, whilst providing internal verification to the project. The successful applicant will be a hardworking and motivated individual who is dedicated to the delivery of high quality learning, whilst taking personal responsibility for achieving results.
Duties will include delivering, facilitating & evaluating the full range of project training programmes, whilst advising, guiding & assessing individual learners. The successful applicant will be responsible for the ongoing development of interactive training and learning methods in line with project objectives. In addition, you will be responsible for actively promoting & raising awareness of the project through networking and contributing to marketing and public relations. The post holder will be required to regularly monitor, review and evaluate the full range of training programmes and processes to ensure compliance, relevance and objectives are met. The appointed candidate will be required to act as a role model and consistently demonstrate the values and beliefs of the organisation, whilst ensuring that duties are performed promoting equality of opportunity for all, excellent customer service & environmental sustainability.
Applicants must address the following essential criteria:
- Proven experience of designing/developing, delivering and evaluating accredited training and learning activities, using a variety of training & facilitation methods
- Holder of a recognised management qualification at least Level 3 or have experience in working at a minimum of first line manager level.
- Proven and recent experience of assessing and internally verifying accredited learning programmes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of learning, training and development (theory and practice).
- Experience of managing quality assurance and compliance procedures in a training environment.
- Experience of identifying training needs and balancing needs of individuals and the organisation.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in order to meet the challenges and demands of the project.
- Ability to communicate in Welsh verbally and in writing is highly desirable as you may be required to deliver training programmes through the medium of the Welsh language.
- ICT literate and ability to use MS Word, PowerPoint, e-mail and the internet.
- The ability to analyse and report complex information for accreditation and compliance purposes.
The post holder will be required to travel extensively throughout Wales to support the delivery of the project and this may include overnight stays.
