Senior sales executive - Online sales - Digital Sales - Media sales Executive - Sales Manager - Advertising Sales manager is required for a major online advertising organisation operating in a highly lucrative market that is currently booming. This is an international telesales role selling online and digital advertising and subscriptions.
The client requires an experienced and professional advertising sales manager who can demonstrate an impressive record of success in advertising sales. (Either print or online/digital based, although digital/online is preffered)
The Senior Sales / sales Managers role is to sell online advertising - Digital Advertising and to sell a large portfolio of International web sites to a particular indutry and market place. The sales role is to sell online advertising and online subscriptions, links, banners and more to the portfolio of International sites.
ROLE: Senior sales Executive - Online Sales - digital sales
Basic salary: £250k to £35K
OTE: Uncapped £50K
LOCATION: Hertfordshire
ROLE: Managing the existing clients
Identifying potential advertisers (although some leads are provided and from warm leads that arrive every day.)
Identifying areas for growth and expansion
Contacting clients by email and phone and selling listings, banner advertising, enquiry services and section sponsorship.
Confirming the advertising placement or listing.
Liaising with the client on the supply of the advert or information for the listing.
Renewing deals on a quarterly/annual basis.
Representing the company at international Exhibitions and events worldwide
The senior sales role will entail international telephone sales selling online advertising and more, and also driving the online portfolio of web sites forward.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: The person must have previous Advertising sales experience, proven business acumen and the ability to take responsibility for AN IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL ONLINE PORTFOLIO. This role is very demanding but extremely lucrative as the bonus is uncapped… Therefore a real drive, passion and desire are essential qualities to posses.
You must be confident in dealing with people from a variety of cultures and countries and have the patience and temperament to deal with non-native English speakers on the phone and face to face.
If you know about online media or have experience in international sales, this would be an advantage.
The focus of the job is making and managing sales...not managing sales people. At this stage, there is no responsibility for other sales people.
You must be pc literate, most communication will be email based. All sales activity and contacts are recorded in an online CRM system.
It would be nice to possess the following skills although not essential: Languages, previous sales experience in international markets and/or Web based experience for example. also would be ideal if you have a proven track record in Online sales and/or digital sales or online advertising or digital advertising.
