Our Client, one of Europe's largest and most successful multidisciplinary consultancies with specialisms in the transportation, environmental, water and property sectors has an urgent requirement for a Senior Acoustic Consultant with particular expertise in the Renewable Energy field. Due to new frame work agreements the organization are looking for a wind farm noise specialist to project manage a number of new developments across the UK. Successful applicants will lead and complement a dynamic team of Acoustic Consultants in their office in Warrington.

Salary: Up to £45K dependent on relevant experience

Qualifications
Ideally MSc/BSc Acoustics/Noise and Vibration

Experience
Preferably 10 years+ Acoustic consultancy within the renewable sector with emphasis on environmental and wind farm noise.
A keen interest in renewable energy
Technically competent and IT proficient
Commercially aware and team player
Extensive and detailed understanding of Environmental Acoustics
Strong project management skills.
The ability to produce technically accurate reports
Specialist understanding of the required standards and regulations
Full driving license

Duties
Carry out acoustic assessments, noise measurements and surveys and site inspections with an emphasis on ETSU-R-97 wind farm assessments.
Conducting base line surveys for Environmental Impact Assessments
Carry out data analysis as part of the on site monitoring process
Carry out accurate and representative noise predictions in the field of noise and planning
Supplying expert witness evidence on all aspects of acoustics, noise and vibration
Liaise with consultants, engineers and architects
Project management
Writing high quality reports
Consultation with Environmental Health Officers including advising on appropriate use of planning conditions
Undertake noise assessment site visits all over the UK

Projects
The client is currently involved in a number of high profile exciting projects with focus on Renewable Energy with particular expertise in wind energy developments.
