The Role:
The successful Service Business Manager will oversee a team of Field Service Engineers and their line managers. Taking accountability for new business, the Service Business Manager will need a proactive, entrepreneurial outlook to maximise revenue growth. You will need a strong commercial acumen and have experience of managing and growing large profit and loss accounts (P+L).
The Person:
The Service Business Manager will have:
1. Previous experience in a Service Management or similar environment
2. Electrical Engineering experience ideally with Diesel Generators, CHP plant, UPS systems, Switchgear or similar.
3. Previous experience within target markets - construction contractors, electrical contractors, M+E consultants, managed services consultancy etc.
4. Strong commercial acumen with experience of managing teams of Service Engineers and managing budgets / P+L circa £12 - 15 million
