Are you the sort of person who likes to be challenged, is driven to perform and thrives in a fast paced and demanding environment, whilst under pressure? If this sounds like you Northern Foods are now looking to recruit a Service Delivery Manager to join our Shared Service Centre in Wakefield.
The role
Reporting to the Head of Service Management, as Service Delivery Manager you will be responsible for –
- Managing all aspects of the Northern Food Business/Desktop Applications portfolio used to support the Business across the UK and Ireland. This includes applications such as SAP and IMS.
- Managing a team of 15 staff members providing a 24x7 support service for approximately 5000 users.
- Matrix management of staff working on ‘projects’ designed to implement new and change existing services.
- Financial management and overall IS budget, vendor management of all suppliers.
Job Requirements:Essential criteria
- Proven application management experience, preferably within in an FMCG environment, with previous application management of SAP.
- Clear commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers and service criticality levels.
- Experience of fronting complex and diverse IS systems in a service focused organisation.
- Experience of working with suppliers as partners and outsourcing contracts.
Desirable critiera
- An IS professional ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Preferably holder of a CCTA ITIL qualification.
