My client, a recently established provider of secure mental health facilities, is currently recruiting for a Service (Hospital) Manager for its new Nottingham based medium secure hospital.
As Service Manager, you will provide professional leadership and management within the hospital. You will have full delegated authority for the day to day operational management of the clinic, ensuring that the highest standards of service and care are being delivered within an agreed budget. Key duties include working with senior colleagues in delivering the strategic and operational objectives of the business; working with internal and external shareholders to successfully develop a first class clinical service; being the Registered Manager in line with the requirements of the CQC; maintaining a strong and supportive relationship with the local community, and other duties as outlined in the job description.
The successful candidate will have extensive management experience, ideally gained in a secure or forensic environment. You will be a registered nurse (RMN/RNLD), and experience of working within a new service would be an advantage.
