SHEET METAL WORKER / FABRICATOR

Manufacturing company looking for skilled sheet metal worker to join the team to cover a peak in workload.
What the Role Involves
Fabrication of metal boxes
Working with stainless steel
Working to fine limits
Hands-on fabrications rather than using machines
Low volume manufacturing
Working from drawings to make bespoke metal boxes
Setting up machines
Working out bending allowances
Working out sizes and developments
Working out notches
Deciding where to bend the metal
Carrying out TIG and MIG welding
Setting up CNC and manual punches
Re-graining steel
Working folding machines
My client will only interview candidates that meet the following criteria
1. Fine limit fabrication experience
2. Living within the Surrey / Hampshire area
3. TIG welding experience
4. Stainless steel hands-on skills in working to engineering drawings
