Job Purpose
To provide a technical service on a continental shift rota with the minimum of supervision to the companies clients in respect of electrical/mechanical service, repairs, maintenance and installation within critical engineering environments. There will be a requirement to work to the current shift plan which will result in working weekends and some bank holidays as the sites require cover 24/7.
Duties include
- To undertake electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met
- To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met
- To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
- To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
Qualifications/Experience
Applicants must have City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 4/ONC in an Electrical biased discipline.
City & Guilds 239 and 17th Edition together with any other relevant electrical trade qualifications.Previous experience in Critical Engineering Environments providing electrical building services is essential.Experience of working under strict H & S procedures including risk assessments and method statements is desirable.
