Shift Maintenance Engineer
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £20K – £25K dependant on experience
Afonwen is Wales’ leading laundry and linen hire company. The business opened a £6m new production unit in Cardiff in June 2008 and continues to rapidly expand.
The Role: Working as the 4th member of the Engineering Team within the production department, the successful candidate will be required to maintain and repair plant and equipment.
·Completing all planned maintenance and machine logs.
·Repair and maintain plant and equipment.
·Fault finding and minimizing downtime.
·Good degree of responsibility and managerial input.
The Candidate:
·Experienced multiskilled engineer.
·Proven record within a production environment.
·Experience of steam/hot work advantageous.
·Conversant with PLC’s.
·Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
