As Signalling Project Engineer, you will be involved in office-based and site-based activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and ensuring competence of design and construction contractors ? engineers. In addition, you will provide engineering advice to the Designated Project Engineer and Project Manager on signalling issues, design and construction activities and site supervision.
To be considered for the role of Signalling Project Engineer, you have experience of Railway Signalling, Design, Installation and Testing with knowledge of industry standards relating to signalling infrastructure. You will also have experience of a variety of signalling technologies and awareness of CDM regulations and the GRIP process.
It is also important you have experience of multiple stages of the project lifecycle such as development, detailed design, construction and commissioning and the ability to work in a pressurised environment, delivering safe and high quality solutions to time and within budgetary constraints.
If you hold a Technical qualification in a relevant discipline and membership of a relevant professional body with or working towards chartered or incorporated status and/or educated to degree level or equivalent this will be advantageous.
