Site HR Business Partner
Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus excellent blue chip benefits
A role has arisen for an HR Business Partner for one of our client’s Logistics sites to work as part of the Site Senior Management Team to develop and deliver an effective HR strategy to support the site’s strategy for growth.
The Role:
·Provide a comprehensive operational HR service, whilst driving and improving performance across the business.
·Act as an agent for change on site, managing and facilitating key site initiatives and improvement activities.
·Liaising with Trade Unions ensuring a stable relationship as well as negotiating where required.
·Continuously improve the HR service on site and implement any new policies and procedures developed by the function.
·Recruitment and selection
·Manpower and succession planning
·Managing the change process on site
·Conducting complex disciplinary and grievances
·Develop annual site HR and training plans aligned to the company strategy
·Manage a comprehensive range of HR KPI’s in order to facilitate the better management of the business e.g. absence, headcount and employee turnover.
The Person:
·Successful HR experience as an effective HR Business Partner/Generalist
·Experience in a Manufacturing or Logistics environment
·Degree educated or equivalent and Grad CIPD qualified
·Experience leading deployment initiatives and/or large scale HR projects
·Proven relationship management experience and ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
·Employee relations expertise with trade union experience
·Assertive self-starter and independent thinker with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
