Intraining Ltd part of Newcastle College Group is a highly innovative and wide ranging provider of training, operating in both the Public and Private Sectors with national reach and experiencing substantial growth.
This post requires applicants to hold or be willing to work towards the appropriate subject specialism at Level 3 (literacy/and or numeracy).
The applicant must also hold a Teaching Certificate up to and including level 3.
The role will be based in Woking
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid UK passport or work permit.
Summary and Main Purpose:
To support participants to gain employment through the delivery of structured basic skills training programmes, workshops and supported job-search.
Key Accountabilities:
Delivery of Maths and English workshops up to and including level 2 to prepare learners for National
Test where appropriate.
Administration and management of Global Online Assessment (GOLA) and registration of candidates
for testing and certification.
Carry out assessments on the basic skills levels of participants to enable tailored training and support
to be offered and delivered.
Delivery of structured training programmes and workshops designed to improve the basic skills levels
and employability of participants.
Assist participants with basic skills needs in the preparation and updating of CV’s and self marketing
materials.
Coach and support participants with basic skills needs in jobsearch techniques.
Ensure participants records are maintained and kept up to date.
Liaise with Jobcentre Plus, other funding bodies and other departments to assist in the monitoring and
processing of participant details and information.
Liaise with sub-contractor and delivery partners to ensure participants obtain the best possible
opportunities and service.
Matching participants to suitable employment opportunities and encouraging them to fully engage in
the attainment of sustainable employment.
Contribute to the sharing of good practice and support continuous improvement throughout the
company.
Promote a positive image of the company and all the services it delivers.
Actively contribute to maintenance of a professional and welcoming environment within all our centres.
Any other duties reasonably required by the Line Manager.

Participate in any staff review / performance management processes involving the identifying and
meeting of training needs for self and others
Take appropriate responsibility to ensure the health and safety of self and others
Pursue the achievement and integration of equal opportunities throughout all business activities
Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities appropriate to the level of this post.
